Music and meaning go hand in hand to support the training and knowledge that adolescents and adults acquire at this CIL. Music is at its core a structured way to present information. Melodic and rhythmic patterns throughout each space will give those with autism a way to organize auditory information and help memorize scripts, task sequences, daily routines, and academic facts all in effort to improve their skills so that they may lead an independent life. A team approach is utilized with families and many professionals to give the highest quality care, safety, and aesthetic comfort through this transitional period.
